Here’s a promotional item that might be of some interest to those who remember ATI‘s “digital superstar.” Ruby was created in 2003 as part of an ATI project to integrate a storyline into their tech demos. I have not seen her in any new promotional materials for while, but apparently she’s still kicking around in her headquarters. I’m not sure what the story is behind this advertdoll, but it seems like this digital superstar was enough of a big deal for ATI to bring her out into the real world.
