Transforming Your Wardrobe

Via Gadget Lab.

For those of you who thought they had all forms of geeky promotional accessories, we bring you Transformer cufflinks. These bad boys certainly put all kinds of geek-inspired promotional t-shirts to shame.

This May Be the Most Amazing Thing I’ve Ever Seen

I came across this custom sleeping bag on Think Geek and I literally could not help but LOL. The lining is even designed to look like guts! Unfortunately, I don’t think the promotional hat or gloves are included.

USB Drives Go Retro

For all you geeks who miss the days of floppy drives, a solution (or at least a compromise) exists: you can now get custom USB drives that come in the shape of a floppy disk. I haven’t personally come across any, but I’m sure if you could find a custom mouse to look like the old clunky ones and other retro computer accessories, you can feel just like you’re twenty years in the past.

Missed Fathers’ Day? Get in Gear!

This custom clock made from old bicycle parts is pretty neat. For anyone who missed Fathers’ Day, it would make a really unique present for any dads who like to bike! Pairing something like this with a personalized water bottle makes an eco-friendly present– and it’s certainly much cheaper than getting him a new bike!

Twilight Zone!

Today is the 45th anniversary of the original airdate of the last episode of The Twilight Zone! The show that set the standard for sci fi, horror and suspense aired its last original episode on CBS on June 19th in 1964– but it lives on in syndication, dvd box sets, and merchandise such as promotional T-shirts and watches.

The New Swiss Army Knife

This is really neat! Made to look like a Swiss Army knife, this utensil holder has ample space to hold whatever kinds of custom utensils you throw its way. It really does look just like an oversized promotional Swiss Army knife!

Sniff and Smile

For those of you with Kindles and iPhone apps who miss the olfactory sensation of reading, fear not: you can now get book-scented promotional air freshners. Available in a variety of scents, you can check them out here. I can’t wait for these smells to hit the subway– it’ll certainly cover up some of the other smells down there.

The Battle of the Century

This custom T-shirt would make a good Father’s Day present for any GeekDads out there. Made to look like a promotional poster for a boxing match,it highlights the ultimate computer rivlary: Mac vs. PC.

The Return of Batman and Robin

Good news for all you Batman and Robin fans: a new series of the comic just debuted last week. The Batman and Robin comics have had so many incarnations that I wonder if they did anything unique to promote the new release beyond just putting up some promotional posters in comic book shops. Since it is a comic book series, they could have released some promotional toys to go along with the new comic– hardcore fans would regard them as collectors items and it would probably attract some young kids to the series.

Geek-Related Sporting Schwag?

For those of you who just feel weird without a set of keys beneath your fingertips, there are now bike grips you can buy that are designed to look like the QWERTY keyboard. I wonder where else this design will start showing up– there are tons of custom outdoors and sports products that use grips, like umbrellas and binoculars.
